I know I want to do a hemi swap but I cant decide on which one. Is there that much difference in the 5.7 vs the 6.1? I know there is about 85hp differece but.....
Opinions from those that have driven both in a JK?

2010 Rubicon JKU
5:38 gears and AEV front driveline
4.5" AEV premium with AEV High Steer Kit
AEV rear tire swing on stock bumper
37" Goodyear MTRs on 17x9 ProComp wheels
AEV floor mats/Jeep and Paracord grab handles
Lightforce 170s and Thule T2 bike rack
I've driven neither, but I'd think that the 5.7 would be plenty for me. Especially given the big difference in price.

I think that a 6.1 and D44 with 37" tires would blow sky high. Should be fine with a D60. I'd probably get the 5.7 and spend the difference on a Dynatrac Pro Rock 60 for the rear.

OMG I wanna go rockclimbin with u! I want to do the 6.1 SRT from COR but I want a straight drive. I had a 5.7 in my 05 Ram and with a CAI and Flowmaster Duals I had plenty of power and I know that my Ram weighed a lot more than a JK.
Keep the shiny side up,

I've read that the 5.7 swap is much easier and that everything fits better. Just go here and browse:
