Hi everyone I have a 2011 Jk and got 35's, but am about to put them on and was wondering if the relocation bracket is really needed for the spare when my stock tires were 255/75R17.

It's not really the tire that is the issue but the wheel. The smaller the backspacing the better, like 4.5" or less and you should be fine without a bracket.![]()
Stock rims? If so, I just cut to rubber stoppers about in half. Tire sits closer to Jeep now, less stress. I wouldn't advise using a bracket yo push it further out...

Dang that's sucks, but I ran a 35 on my and never had any stress cracks develop.
Youll need one to clear the bumper for sure. Mine has been on a year, no problems.
