I spoke to Bret or Brent? He said he could get the front "rock crawler" bumper for $399, and the rear bumpers were not available.

I will ask for Chris next time.

It depends on the welds, and thickness of steel. I wouldn't go more then 10,000. That's more then enough. Anything more your just adding more dead weight

I think that I have seen somewhere that they are rated for 10,000lbs...I can't recall where I saw that but that number is sticking in my head for some reason.

Finally got the front bumper to go along with the rear. I ended up re-installing the stock fogs on it for now, until I decide what direction I want to go with aftermarket lighting. Very impressed with this bumper as well!

After reading through this thread I decided to take a chance and buy front and rear together. Cost me 800 total and the end result was very nice for what I paid. The 4x4 shop that installed them said these are Smitty rejects that are bought by E-Auto and sold cheap. He also said Smitty rejects most of them for cosmetic reasons however mine arrived with no blemishes that I can find.

Not sure if this info is correct however none the less for my usage these are perfect. They were much more heavy than I expected and when my lift was installed I added a 3/4 inch spacer with the 2.5 inch coil lift to help with the weight of the bumper and winch. I would buy from them again as I am very happy with what I received.
