Default Welcome Distributing Grab handles

A few weeks ago we welcomed a new sponsor to our site, Welcome Distributing. One of there parts that they offer is a set of grab handles that bolt to the "A" pillar. Since this was something that I was looking for I ordered a set. I forget the price, but it was reasonable. They arrived the other day and just had a chance to install them today. Now I'm not going to give a step by step install because they are so easy to install that I think my wife could install them. Let me say that the product is over engineered, which is a good thing. They could of used a much cheaper piece of metal for this product. The grab handles are made of 3/4 inch solid steel pipe and is painted black and comes with quality mounting hardware. Installation took less than 15 minutes with hand tools. Here are a few pics.

What do you think of the quality? And the looks.

I may invest in something like this. My step in got a lot harder when I raised 3.5 inches.

Looks good, I'm thinking about going this route. Just seems more solid!

I installed something else, but with the same idea -- putting the grip handles at the corners, where the ergonomics are better than at the middle of the entry space.

There's something missing in both these grips and the ones I used -- some insulation.
After a few hours of parking in the summer sun, the black metal grip gets pretty hot.
In the winter, they'll get quite cold.
Going to improvise something, but I think insulation should be included. The extra price is worth it.
