Default 1% below invoice on 2008 Wranglers!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that you can get a great deal on 2008 wranglers if your a USAA Member. To become a member you need to be in the military or have a parent in or once in the military. Go to usaa.com to find out if you qualify. If your able to become a member you get 1% below invoice on all wranglers! No word of a lie!!! When it comes to the Rubicon you might have to search around for a dealer that will honor the price , but they are out there! Out of the seven dealers I contacted only two honored this on the rubicon. As for the x and sahara, they all will honor it..... As a matter of fact they never asked me for prove of membership....I guess they took it as truth since I knew the details of 1% below invoice. So if you have some balls you can just pretend to be a member. A little side note though, some dealships say they honor it but try to add on things like tint and clearcoat or rust protectant. Things that they put on at the dealship that they say doesn't go in the invoice. Keep shopping don't fall for this or pick which dealership does it the least. Either way you can not beat 1% below invoice!!!! Good Luck !!!!!!

Nah, they still don't want us old, retired Chief Master Sergeants whose dads are World War II and Korean War vets, and who has two son-in-laws and one daughter currently serving.

A minor annoyance: They lock you into the front page of their website if you try to backspace out. Cheap tactic that I'm surprised that an otherwise reputable and respectable business uses. Mouse to your browser's back arrow button and drop down list to bypass this shenanigan.

I cringe to think that anyone paid more than 1% below invoice -- I emailed 6 dealers near me (I'm in NJ so LOTS of dealers) -- told them I will buy now if they offer me a 2008 Unlimited for 1% below invoice -- 2 said YES -- to any they had on the lot -- got a Jeep Green Unlimited, dual top, Sahara for 1% below -- no extra fees -- no rip-off extended warranty -- TELL THEM what you will pay -- they don't like it -- WALK!

There are many 1% below invoice deals to be had so I think it's the defacto standard these days. After I purchased mine through the friends and family program my wife sent me an email with a control code number from her work. Turns out her company will also enable her (or me) to get a Jeep at 1% below invoice.

It was nice not to haggle AND to get 0% on top of it. Zero down means I'm playing with house money to an extent, even more so when you consider I banked the money from the private sale of my car.

That can be a trick, but often times it's poor programming because of a redirect.

My wife's uncle works for chrysler, do you think I should get that discount as well we will both be on the title, or is uncle too distant?

I already ordered it do you think they will still sell it to me for 1% less invoice?

Only your uncle can get the employee pricing but he can get you a control # and you can get it for friends and family at 1% under invoice (plus they don't charge you as much for doc fees) -

did you already sign the paperwork? If so, probably not much your dealer would do to work with you. If not, I don't see why not.
