2009 or 2010 ??

Hi all... I am in a "waiting" list for a 2dr. sahara since last July, I am located in MX and dealers (in MX) ran out of ANY wrangler since June.

- Jeep plant started manufacturing again on 07/27 , and some 2009's were already finished when plant was shutdown. and now, those wrangler that were stuck when plant was closed, have started arriving ( well... only 1 sahara-4dr. to my little town)

Need an advice from the experts:

Should I order a 2010 and wait 6 weeks (manufacturing time) the way I want it ( 2 dr.., bright silver ) ??

Or should I get the 4 dr. already here (black) ???


Pros and Cons of ( 2dr. VS 4dr. ) ?? besides the size .......

Same engine for a bigger body ( 4 door ) - Will you notice less power than a 2 door ?

I believe 2009s have the lifetime warranty.

But, aside from that, you're paying quite a bit for this Jeep. Get it the way you want.

I had to drive five hours to get my Sunburst Orange, no other dealers would trade with my local dealer. I had to compromise on the power package due to price, but working to get my color was worth it. I'm completely satisfied with the Jeep.

I don't think the Lifetime warranty goes outside the US. If it does get the '09. Otherwise I would get what you want, I don't think 6 weeks is very long. There are pros and cons for the 2 door vice 4 door.

Order it, There's a good chance that it might not even take that long to come in. Depending on what is ordered though could have an effect. Don't know if Half-Door's are still causing delays or not.Good Luck

You're looking for a '10 silver 2dr Sahara? There's plenty of them already built. You just need to find what dealers will be getting them first in your area. Won't take long.
