Default Tube doors w/mirrors - street legal in any states?

Does anyone know if tube doors are street legal? I would guess you would have to have mirrors, but windows might be a problem too.

What do you mean I didn't think we had to have our doors on at all? Or our mirrors? I was planning on mounting my mirrors to the body but not this summer, so I was planning on going doorless and mirrorless all summer and topless of course, lol

Most states do not allow the door removal on jeeps newer than 87?(when the yj came out) as that is when door became standard issue,, before that doors were an option on the cj. It was something the ins. co's pushed for. Some states allow the door removal some do not.. check your local vehicle codes on this.. as for Pa it is not allowed but most LEO do not know this and rarely do any enforce the issue.. more like,, if your not doing something stupid they will leave you alone.. The tube doors will most likely keep any cop off your back.. Jest show them the sticker on your softop that reads,, "the doors and roof are for protection from the elements only and not for crash protection"

I removed the sticker from my visor also. But i believe it is in the owners manual also. I'm not going to worry about it, once i get the mirror relocation brackets the doors will come off.

Its not on the visor but on the header part of the soft top.. Thats the only warning sticker I keep on..
In fact when I get my new 08 I'm getting an extra sticker to put somewhere so when I get stopped with out the doors,,, I also carry my inspection license and the pa vehicle code where it says that the doors can be removed.. It usually works.. I've heard that doesnt work in court tho,,
