Installing a Wraparound Windjammer on an Unlimited (4 door).

My Wraparound top
I had issues with the door surrounds and ended up breaking a tap off each side of the jeep. So to fix this issue i drilled out a a hole in the door surrounds and stuck a bolt threw that goes through an existing hole in the jeep body.
I did not use the bikini straps to hold up my windjammer, I used velco straps from HomeDepot.
I used buttons to attach the wraparound to duster. I am going to have my grandmother sew a seam where i cut of the top.
finished:
My set up is ok in the rain thank to my homemade bikini and duster top props. sorry for the $hitty pics.

10ft., 1/2" PVC Pipe
T, connector 1" with 1/2" t
I cut the Connector in half, see pic #2
PVC length will vary, for best results do this on a hot day to ensure a very tight fit.

Anyone have any tips on getting the sides of the windjammer to go over the soft top surrounds?? I've broken two surrounds and I'm a bit frustrated now.
I had kept the Jeep and windjammer out all day on Friday (100F+) in hopes the heat would make it a bit more pliable, but failed miserably when the tab on the bottom of the surround snapped for the second time.
Thankfully it's only a $45 part.

I had the same issue so i customized mine for more strength by drilling them and using a bolt through the surround and the body, using a hole that's already in the body, look back a few post. If you need better pics pm with your email. Make sure seats are down, put jammer on, then put seats up.
