Default Made an installed a custom trunk/box

After checking prices, I decided to make my own box. Started with a 3/4" sheet of marine grade plywood and started cutting. I think the top piece is roughly 57"x33" with some slots cut for the roll bar, and the vertical brace is somewhere around 22" tall. I'd have to measure again to be sure. Made a door panel for access without opening the gate, hinged and carpeted. Looks ok, but I think I can do better with my next attempt.

Thanks. To think it all started because I want to add a subwoofer to the back. I still haven't decided what to do about that though.

Does it lock when the gate is shut/locked?

    Default I like it.

Just another locked X on 37s...that actually gets driven to and from the trail... and wheeled.

Yeah, it locks. I just put a top lock on the trunk lid between the latch I cut out and the rest of the platform. Any kind of sliding lock works along with a padlock. Then I lock the gate and all's secure.

Nice job..... Can you take it out or did you make it to be permanent?

It's completely removable. It mounts to the jeep, but on the side rails, so you can get to them.

I see in the background, your design team working diligently on this project.
