    Default 2" BB..wheel spacers...stock tires-need Input

2008 JK X- Have decided to add a small 2" bb, and I'm considering adding 1-1/2inch wheel spacers to my stock 17" rims. I use this jeep as a daily driver (and I drive a lot), so I wasnt initially wanting to go with larger tires, due to the cost of tires, loss of milage, etc. My plan was to upgrade the tires later on.
I'm thinking the wheel spacers (wider stance) and BBoost (higher platform)will give it a much better look with the stock tires , but I cant find any pics of jeeps with a similar setup.

Anyone out there made these mods without larger tires? Pics?

    Thanks

    http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...ation-write-up

At the bottom of this writup there are pictures of a jeep with the 2.5 BB and stock tires. I don't think it has spacers but it's close as I know.

Also there is a lot of good info in there about installing.

Get the spacers, you will need them later if you decide to go with a wider tire (12.5") on stock rims anyway.

I saw 2 JKs on a recent run like this. looked better than stock.

I plan on running a 2" BB w/out spacers shortly.

I just helped Ben1284 install a 3" running his stock 32s for now & that didn't look bad.

I'm running the TF 2.5 BB with 1.5" Spidertrax spacers and the stock rims/tires. I'm happy with how it turned out, looks better than stock. The tires are now out flush with the flares and it has a wider stance, which to me, makes it handle even better on road.

    Stock

Stock with the rubi tires and wheels

Added a 1 3/4 spacer in the front (minus the weight of the also added bumper and winch)

Added the 1.5 spider trax wheel spacers.

    Added a 3/4 rear spacer and 33x12.50's.

Kinda wish I had only added a 1/2 inch spacer in the rear instead of the 3/4, I like the front higher look.
    Hope this helps.

Edit: Not sure which model you have, if you have the unlimited then you can disregard most of this as they sit different. Atleast you can see how far out your tires will be with 1.5 inch wheel spacers.
