    Default ATX wheel fitting question

Hey guys, as I'm really sort of new at this and google hasn't turned anything up for me yet.

I would like to buy these wheels for my jk...

ATX : AX 188 Ledge Teflon
    Wheel Part Number: AX18888050635
    Size: 18 x 8
    Diameter: 18
    Width: 8
    Lug Count: 5
    Bolt Pattern: 5X5.0
    Metric Bolt Pattern: 5x127
    Offset: 35
    Backspacing: 5.88
    Center Bore: 78.3

This is to be run with stock bridgestone tires 255/70R18, So here is my question,

With these wheels do you think I will need to buy wheel spacers or should it fit alright?
If so what size do you all recommend?

    Thanks.

Do you have a lift and/or aftermarket LCAs?

The backspacing is the important issue. With a lift and 35"+ tires, you'd want at least 4.5" backspacing. So, these wouldn't work for that. The smaller the backspacing, the more room between your tire and the body. Mine are about 3.5" backspacing, so they stick out plenty far enough for clearance. These are listed as 5.88", which is better than the 6"+ that stock wheels have. So you'll be fine if you keep the height and tire size stock.

I have no plans for a lift yet, who knows what the future will hold...

So if i understand what your saying right the fact that they have 5.88" backspacing will make these stick out more than the stock sahara 18's?

and also do you think I'll need wheel spacers?

    Thanks again for your assistance

the 16" and 17" rims have 4.5" backspacing why not use those? 18" rims mean more expensive tires anyway.

Since I picked it up from the dealership last thursday, I can't justify to my wife the buying of wheels and two set of tires in the same year... (Quebec law forces us to put winter tires on starting in november).

    Thanks for your help everybody.
