Ball joints, front u-joints and brakes recommendations????

Hey all,


Looks like I need new:

Upper and lower ball joints
Front U-joints
Brakes (rotors and pads)


What do you guys recommend that would be stronger and last longer? Whenever something needs replacing I look at upgrading (within reason).

The Dynatrac Prosteer ball joints are suppose to be the best for the JK, I just ordered some myself. They are a little spendy but from what I've heard they are worth it.

Best thing to do is get spicer (OEM) if you need them. Or, remove, inspect, and relube the ones you have.

There are other choice but they are high dollar and would be way overkill for a factory set-up.

OK then, CTM u-joints $235 each. Major league, unbreakable, and a replacement warranty if you do.

dont tom woods ds have gold joints? call them up and get 1 or 2

The original dealer denied replacing ball joints and u-joints under my warranty because I have a lift and bigger tires.


Good news....went to another dealer that I have dealt with and he is doing it all under warranty for me on Monday! he was shocked that I bought my JK there and the warranty and they still denied me.

I found my new dealer ...even though it's 40min away....nice to have a "mod friendly dealer"
