Default My singe-swing tire carrier (H2 parts warning)

Friend at work had a tire carrier off of a H2 Hummer that he was going to toss so I got it for free. Wanted it to swing with the tailgate so I scratched my head for a while and came up with this. It works flawlessly with no noises or rattles.

Im sure some will give me crap about the Hummer parts, but for a total cost of about $15 I can live with it

Wait, and it opens with the tailgate?? Dude, that is sweet.
Far from a bolt on. On a Hummer its a separate swing unit from the tailgate. A lot of it was cut off and other plates welded to it.

As for tools....my garage is more of a metal fab shop than a place to park cars
