Snow wheeling - too deep aghhh

Went wheeling up a back road at a local ski mountain in vancouver. Kinda not smart i guess but had the urge. originally went up the mountain with a bud to get some photos of the city but took a turn at the first site of a trail. Snow kept getting deeper and deeper. The trail took us up to some old abandoned cabins that were built earlier in the 1900's just some homeless dudes live up there or a couple of green party guys. Anyways got stuck really bad. Lol I guess I humbled myself and my unlimited rubicon. Luckily I had my cordless dewalt skil saw and my offroad lights. Chopped up a bunch of trees. Walked up to one of these old cabins and sifted through some crap when I came across a broken snow shovel. Made my way back to my jeep with just the light of my cell phone-lol Dug it out ; it was severly high centered. Stuffed all this wood I chopped up under the tires. Locked her diffs ( i must say that esp thingy is more frustrating than i thought) Anyways finally got out. Backed my way all the way down this narrow trail. Man my neck is sore and was I ever cold and soaking wet. Next purchase front bumper winch-tow straps , even a rear tow hitch mounted winch...oh and a collapsable shovel.

Cypress mountain. West vancouver! hmm I guess I kind of paniced didnt even think about taking photos. lol. sorry forum friends that i didnt think of yall in my time of strive..lol next time that will be certain.

Yes I had the stock bf's 32. I really got high centered on ice. The jeep slid off the trail couldnt go foward or back just kept spinning. Had to dig out the bottom of the jeep with my 16 oz estwing hammer. I was thinking of empting a 1 gallon pail of methyl hydrate on the snow and lighting the place up on fire. Couldnt bear the thought my rubicon getting too hot too fast

Hmmm,,, glad to see you kept the the shovel and wood idea... i don't know how much those green guys you mentioned living up there would appreciate the Methol whatever it was burning up the place.... lol... And if you ever do set things ablaze to get unstuck... make sure you post pics... that would be a sight.
