    Default Hard Top Dolly

I needed a way to store my top behind my garage. It would need to role across grass and gravel. The 10" pneumatic tires work very well. The rest is made of 1.5" scrap angle iron.

The top mounts with the regular hardtop bolts to two flat bars that rotate up. So placing and removal of the top, on the dolly, is done in the normal horizontal position.

The bottom is supported by an adjustable strap.

One question, how tight is the strap going to the rear window? Arent you affraid it may break it?
Not very much pressure on the glass. I'd guess that 90% of the pressure from the strap is on the corners of the top.

I can see where this is going. I should have put some stauns on there for the pics on the grass. I need to next figure out how to do onboard air. Maybe I'll just put a power winch on there....

    6"??? Those are 10's

    classic.

I'd add a little padding (pipe insulation or just pool noodles) where the top gets close to the metal. They do scratch easily!!!

That is worth $100-150. The junk that the other mfg's are offering, with tiny wheels that wouldn't last through one roll across a typical driveway, and a frame that a quick breeze would bend like a pretzel, aren't. Brett, you need to offer these. And while I'm creating more work for you, how about a mount for the Freedom Top panels that attaches to the stock rear top section (ala Bestop's version, but to mod the Mopar version)? Make them and you'll be just that much more my hero!
