JK Ramp Day Meet-n-Greet
For those of you in the SoCal area who weren't able to make it out to Off Road Evolution on Sunday for our first ever JK Ramp Day Meet-n-Greet, all I can say is that you missed out on a ton of fun. But, if you'd like to experience it vicariously, here are a few pics from the event:
The standard to beat - although, the rear tire carrier hitting the wall prevented Mel from going back any further....

A tape measure was afixed to the ramp to make measurements easier and consistent....

First up on the ramp was toad and her 2-door with 4" Rough Country lift and 35's impressed the hell out of everyone...

One of the best things about meet-n-greets is that you get to see all the cool mods that others like mikey1989 has done with his fenders and lights....

Here you can see Mel taking a measurement using his pinion plum bob....

toad getting her hands dirty to help out rangleme disconnect her sway bar links...

Ctimrun trying to give the EVO JK a run for its money...

By about lunch time, the crowds started to pile in...

Mel helping Off Topic to inspect the underside of her JK...

toad keeping thorough records...

Feature Editor, Ali Mansour from Petersen's 4Wheel & Off Road came by in a Toyota Sequoia that he just took up John Bull the day before...

Taco time!!

Here's what the scores looked like by the end of the day - Notice how similar most of the JK's performed... well, with the exception of Ctimrun anyway....

Andrew from Off Road Evolution bringing out the Ultimate Adventure Truck and crushes everyones scores...

After a little pressure from Overton, we decided to run our JK up the ramp again as well....

New final scores....

and finally, Andrew mathmatically calculating how much more the scores would have been if the measurements were taken perpendicular to the ramp....
