Where to mount CB radio?

Hey all,
Wondering where you all mounted your CB radio?
I've got a larger unit (Cobra 18wxst) and I can't figure out where I want it.

but i like my little Cobra 19XX(?) mounted over the rear view.

My little cobra is mounted in the middle armrest storage console. it keeps it out of site and locked when doors are off.

Make a bracket that comes out of the top of the center dash panel would be my best idea.

I mounted mine up top , middle of windshield, to the bracket on the windshield frame. Its out of the way.

Has anyone had any luck with a handheld? I know you would lose some range.....

I have the same radio, I think it looks great mounted in that location, I was going to do the same thing, but I wouldn't want my friend to be reaching down there to use the radio

Several people use the Cobra 75 and the only thing you have to mount is the speaker portion. The main unit gets tucked in out of the way. You can serch the forum and find several hits on it.
