Default Painting a JK Olive Drab *UPDATE*

Here are some shots of RubiConVict's JK which he decided to have ChevyM14 rattle can olive drab and it came out great. This is a work in progress and is going on day 3 of work, still to be added are military decals and finish up the doors.

Subscribed. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

What kind of paint did you use, and what did you do to prepare the body panels to be painted. How many layers, did you clear coat it, etc. Thanks.

I'm a GIRL that loves to get dirty in her Jeep!

So let me understand… the challenge is to take an off road vehicle, split a crack between 3 story boulders going 2 mph… just seems a bit… hard to put one word to it…absurd.......So the fun part is sharing a brew after being absurd, and commiserating how you were lucky that you didn’t damage your vehicle…And the one guy was an idiot because he drove his custom vehicle into a crack…I have got to try this!!

we got 12 cans 4 are left but the doors are prob gonna take about 3 when theyre all done. Im not sure of the paint exactly its a ww2 olive drab that chevym14 uses on his willys mb, im sure he'll post up and answer any questions.

To prep we used 400 grit sand paper and then cleaned it with a presol. ChevyM14 did all the painting we took anything off that we could and masked all the rest
