Nice pics - you planning on getting bigger tires too?
Thanks!

Ha, yes. Tires are the next item on my list. I kind of like the look of the stock Rubi Wheel/BFG combo. Also thinking about picking up an extra set of Sahara 18" rims and getting some bigger tires for them. Haven't decided yet

Yeah, tire and wheel upgrades are a whole new thread, but I can show you my Jeep with the stock Rubicon wheels and tires:

And BFG 35s with AEV wheels:

It cost me a lot more to do the 32" to 35" tire upgrade then the 2.5" Spring Lift!

That is a nice looking combo. The 35s really fill the wheel well nicely.

Thanks, I agree. Since you said you were interested in BFGs with the lift I figured showing both could help your decision.

BTW - I sometime get a little rub in the plastic end cap on the rock rails when I flex out the rear hand hit a bump at the same time. The rubbing isn’t bad - typically less then a half turn of the tire. So far it hasn’t been annoying enough to adjust anything (like shorten the rail a half inch or so).

Glad I found this post! I just got this lift and will be putting it on this Wednesday. I also got a JKS rear trackbar and was wondering if I should just use the stock trackbar mounting points or put the drop bracket supplied in the kit as well?

x2 on this question. I'll have both front and rear JKS trackbars.

If you have adjustable track bars, then there's no need to use the bracket

Definitley use the front TB! A week after the lift install my front axle shifted 1-1/2" over and welcome to the world of Death Wobble.

You are doing it right and avoiding that fun experience. . . had to add a Full Traction front track bar to fix the problem (liked the TF better but needed an immediate fix. . the FT was in stock at Screaming Lizard).

Good luck with the install!

Well, the "best" setup would be a horizontal trac bar with the wheels perfectly centered. The adjustable trac bar permits you to perfectly center your wheels. The drop bracket makes your trac bar more horizontal. Both would potentially permit you to get both.

One issue you may have when using both could be that the adjustable trac bar may not be able to adjust in enough with a drop bracket. In other words, with the drop bracket you wheels could be almost centered with the stock trac bar and your adjustable trac bar may not be able to adjust down to the stock length.

Thanks for the reply. I see what you're saying with using both. I guess a good check for the adjustable trackbar is to try to match lengths with the stocker and if they're the same then I wouldn't have a problem.

My question is that is it really necessary for the rear trackbar to be near horizontal? I understand why having the front would be optimal to do but I didn't think the rear is all that important.
