First jeep trip! went up to Guanella Pass and made it to the 12 mile mark at which point we had to turn around because its closed this year due to the amount of snow. I also ran into a snow drift and got stuck for 30 min

How does the JK drive (on pavement) in the snow with stock tires? My 700' driveway is a biatch in the winter and I need all the help I can get and hope the new jeep will be up to the task of getting me home safely. My AWD sedan did ok with snow tires but had some issues with clearance which caused me to trek it on foot several times this winter.

This was taken a couple of weeks ago in my drive way. It was at the height of a storm that dump 50 cm ( 20 inches ) and brought the yearly total up to over 4 m ( 13 feet ), but still no records set. The hill next to my Jeep is pure snow and ice.
