I will admit, those are pretty sweet!! However, I do wonder about putting them on my DD. If I had a "toy" jeep that I only went wheeling in, I'd be ordering, but those could become some serious weapons in the "cranial area" in the event of an accident on the street. Am I right, or am I being paranoid?

Thought same thing as soon as I saw them. They are cool though.

Default Grab Handles

Agree they are sweet - but the issue of side impact is a good one to consider. Do they offer and padded versions or could flexible pipe insulation cover these?

I guess the obvious response would be that your head is already surrounded by steel in the way of a roll bar. But, it's still a thought. I don't know if your head could even reach the front ones as long as you're strapped in and the airbag(s) deploy. Plus, I've got the supplemental side airbags so maybe that would help. I just walked out to my jeep and tried to imagine having them there when getting in and out, and they would be in the absolute perfect location for making entry and exit easier. He's right, no more grabbing the steering wheel. Hmmm, now I'm conflicted. lol

They look good, but I could see a passenger smacking there head on it when getting in and out.

I tried it and it worked. I had to click on coupon in the shopping cart before clicking the checkout button.

I have been running these in my daily driver for over 3 months now, and also off road. When I wear my seat belt there is no way to hit my head on the handles, and knowing I also have front air bags I don't see where this could ever be a problem. This past weekend we were also up in the hills and both driver and passenger were holding onto the handles, and they work awesome!
