I love Jeep Grand Wagoneers. Who doesn’t? For me, they represent the pinnacle of style, class, and capability for sport utility vehicles, and apparently, I’m not alone. For nearly a quarter of a century, Wagonmaster has been restoring Grand Wagoneers for well-heeled enthusiasts worldwide.

Starting with low-mileage, well-maintained, and rust-free examples, Wagonmaster restores the truck to better-than-new condition, to be sold at a premium. Wagonmaster customers are said to become part of their family of Grand Wagoneer enthusiasts, enthusiasts with discerning tastes and deep pockets, who understand the appeal of a true classic like this. It’s a family I hope to join someday.

This Grand Wagoneer is a little different — it’s a functional 4×4 limousine, unrestored, and preserved with just over 100k miles on the clock. It’s a real time capsule, with a maroon leather interior featuring several trees worth of wood trim, a CRT television, and Motorola car phone, among many other typical limo amenities.

Amazingly, six of these limos were built for a fleet in Aspen, Colorado, and this particular example was seen in the background of Dumb & Dumber. After its stint in Aspen, it found new work in Jackson Hole, Wyoming before being picked up by Wagonmaster. If I had $22,000 to spare, I know that my wedding party, prom date, or red-carpet debutante would arrive in style, regardless of the weather or terrain!
