Explore the American Southwest With Instagrammer Joey J

Joey is our kind of Jeep enthusiast, at home or on the range.

We’ve all seen the stickers that say “Silly boys, Jeeps are for girls!” Joey J, aka joey.jai on Instagram, makes us think that there just might be something to that slogan. Even a quick look at her feed shows that she’s a Jeep fanatic to the highest degree. Her most recent photos show her Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited in action at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.

One of our favorite posts shows a very young Joey standing proudly with her Power Wheels Jeep, no doubt the same way a lot of us Jeepers of a certain age got our start. (Most of ours were red, though).

Her JK Wrangler is unmistakably hers, personalized not only for looks but for functionality on the trails. It looks like she’s chosen her modifications well, although stock JKs are pretty darn capable, we’re impressed by the situations she’s been able to get herself in and out of.

All good rigs need a name, and Joey has dubbed hers Max. Between Max and her dog Hawk, she’s got a great pair of sidekicks for all of her adventures. frankly, we’re pretty jealous of the adventures she goes on.

Joey likes to get in touch with her Native American roots by exploring the wide open American Southwest, both in and out of her Jeep. As if we didn’t think she was cool enough already, she’s a bow huntress.

It seems that living in the American Southwest has its perks for a Jeep enthusiast. In fact, our dream four-wheeling getaways are normal weekend activities for Joey, Max, and Hawk.

Whether she’s hiking, swimming, shooting, or wheeling, it’s safe to say that Joey has our attention. Go follow her on Instagram to see where her adventures take her next!
