Australian 2025 Jeep Wrangler Gets First Price Cuts in Years

While the 2025 Jeep Wrangler is cheaper than last year in Australia, two entry-level trims have also been nixed from the lineup.

It’s no secret to anyone that new vehicle prices have skyrocketed over the past few years, initially spurred on by a lack of supply amid high demand during the onset of the pandemic. Now, years after life got back to normal, pricing hasn’t exactly declined, either, and instead, remains quite elevated following years of inflation and the looming threat of tariffs. However, it stands to reason that eventually, demand for vehicles will cool and perhaps cause a reversal of sorts, and that’s now the case with the 2025 Jeep Wrangler, at least, in one part of the world.

We’ve watched as Wrangler prices have climbed on multiple occasions over the past few years, spurred on by the aforementioned macroeconomic reasons, coupled with general high demand, but now, shoppers will find a bit of relief – at least, in Australia. According to CarExpert, 2025 Jeep Wrangler prices are coming down to their lowest levels there since 2022, though as one might imagine, they’re still much higher than what we saw in years prior.

The two-door 2025 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon now costs $79,990 before on-road costs, down from $82,590, while the four-door version of that same trim retails for $82,990 before on-roads, down from $89,450. Trouble is, Jeep is also discontinuing the cheaper Sport S and Overland trims in Australia, which means that getting behind the wheel of any new Wrangler will cost a bit more, regardless of these price reductions – $10,000 more than 2022, and nearly $20k more versus 2021.

Last year, the four-door Sport S started out at $75,950 before on-road costs, but Aussies interested in a 2025 model will have to shell out a little over $7k more to bring home a comparable Rubicon, though it’s obviously better-equipped from the factory. Regardless, the four-door Australian Rubicon started out at a mere $65,450 back in 2020, followed by $69,950 in 2021, $78,450 in 2022, $86,950 in 2023, and a whopping $90,450 in 2024 before coming back a bit to earth for 2025. Otherwise, the only changes in store for the Australian 2025 Jeep Wrangler are the addition of two new exterior colors – 41 and Mojito.

If nothing else, this sort of news is a bit of a relief for American Jeep fans, given the fact that we’ve got a far more expansive lineup to choose from, at a much lower cost. The 2025 Jeep Wrangler Sport starts out at just $37,290 in the U.S., while getting into a Rubicon sets one back at least $52,050.
