If You’re Driving a classic Grand Wagoneer, You’re in Good Company.

Well, looks like everybody else is starting to catch on to what Jeep fans have known for years.

Namely, that a classic Grand Wagoneer has become quite the status appeal, as highlighted in a recent Wall Street Journal report. The report actually mentions the Grand Wagoneer along with a number of other vintage SUVs — including the Ford Bronco, Land Rover, and IH Scout — which have become a new status symbol among young and old alike.

Sure, for those here, none of the other models quite measure up to the classic appeal of a Grand Wagoneer. But there’s no question that if you’re going to be compared to any classics in the world of SUVs, the Ford Bronco, Land Rover, and IH Scout certainly make for good company.

Of course, the cost associated with actually buying a classic Grand Wagoneer can be as much or more than the listed price for a new Jeep. But hey, status doesn’t come cheap.
