What Does it Cost to Make a Cool Jeep on 37s?
Making your JK Jeep unique and your own can be expensive, but it’s all part of the fun.
The Jeep Wrangler is a blank canvas for customizing and upgrading. You can keep the style of your Jeep basic and true to the design from the factory while adding 4×4 performance. Or you can turn a Jeep into a naked, lifted, 37-inch tire wearing, rock crawling monster. This all depends on your skill, wallet size, or how extreme you want to make your Jeep. For most Wrangler owners, 37-inch tires are probably on the extreme side.
The added height of the tires usually means you need to make modifications to make them work effectively on your Jeep. Supporting suspension upgrades like a lift kit or suspension arms are required. In order to use the full travel of the suspension with the 37s, most owners add smaller aftermarket fenders.
Since you’re adding fenders, the front and rear bumpers are going to stick out. So, the next modification would be smaller front and rear bumpers. At this point, your Jeep is far from the showroom machine it once was. So what does it cost to go down this route?

In this video, YouTuber David Van Voris walks us through his JK Jeep journey, step by step. David kept a little build diary of all the parts and dates of the installs, and he goes through each one with an explanation of each upgrade. In all, it’s really insightful stuff.
But the most eye-opening part of this video is probably the cost. David explains the price of each part on the build. He also talks about how he was able to save money here and there.
