You’ve got to know, I hate being the bearer of any bad news when it comes to Jeeps. I’d much rather be spending time sharing stories like the ones showcasing how many awards and accolades the brand keeps pulling in like the ones in Texas covered by my colleague, Derek Shiekhi, here at JK-Forum.

However, I think it’s important we keep you updated on any recalls for the Jeep brand, which unfortunately includes another one over concerns with the stability control on the 2014 Grand Cherokee, according to an official press release from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

The problem, which also affects the 2014 Dodge Durango, stems from a software issue that could potentially disable the electronic stability control, which could increase the chance of a crash.

An estimated 184,186 total vehicles are included in the recall, and owners should start getting notifications in November about scheduling the repairs with their local dealership.
