In a way, Hammertown is kind of like Las Vegas without the gambling, seeing as its residents stay up all night long in the middle of the Mojave Dessert.
Never been to the Johnson Valley OHV Park? Well, it’s time to kick back, grab a few brews, and hang out with the night crawlers of the King of the Hammers.
If you think Hammertown, the oasis of activity that pops up around the annual King of the Hammers, is exciting during the day, you should check out all of the parties going off at night. There is just something about the lights shining bright in the middle of nowhere that brings out the party atmosphere that Hammertown embodies as soon the sun drops.
It’s mostly family friendly and a lot of fun to watch the rigs and Jeeps driving around with all of their LEDs on. Here’s a little taste of Hammertown at Night.
