Who has one of the best aftermarket modification industries? The Wrangler of course. Almost daily you see a new part roll out for the Wrangler. Sometimes you have to wonder if there is a modification genie out there just nodding his head: “Done!” And boom, there’s another something that we all need to buy. So if you’re here looking for ideas, let’s get you moving in one of the easiest directions — things that you can do at home, even if you don’t have a ton of mechanical experience. Step 1: read this week’s How-To Tuesday article.
Without giving up all of the details of the article, I’ll give you one helpful starting point: tires. The stock tires on the JK are, um, nice. Listen, they are good enough to get you by. And most people who have a Wrangler will likely stick with the stock tires, and then replace them as necessary with another fairly stock tire. But the JK Forum community isn’t about sticking with normal tires, are we? No. Tires and rims can be a nice chunk of change, no doubt. But it really is one of the quicker ways to differentiate your JK from the high school girl down the road that wants a convertible, but Dad wants something safer than a v6 Mustang for his little princess.
