Instagrammer Turns Jeep Life Fantasy into Reality

Jeeping Jake and His Wrangler

From fantasizing about riding the trails to finally living it with his Jeep Wrangler, Jake Moyle takes us through his awesome journey.

What does it mean when a Jeep enters your life? For some, it may mean being able to finally go anywhere and do anything without having to borrow someone else’s car. For others, it’s a chance to get down and dirty on rocky trails and muddy roads. For a few more, it’s the perfect ride for cruising the sand and surf, then roll through the neon streets.

For one man, it’s simply a chance to live the Jeep life. Jake Moyle, known as Jeeping_Jake on Instagram, dreamt about owning his own Jeep so he could join his uncle, a Wrangler owner, on the trail. It wouldn’t be long before those dreams would come true.

In late January of 2017, Moyle got his own JK Wrangler Rubicon to drive with his uncle through the snowy backcountry of his Idaho home, then follow up with a late February 2017 trip to Moab for some rock climbing. His Wrangler was certainly ready for both adventures, starting with the 8,000 lbs winch mounted within the custom front bumper and grill guard with LED fog lights. The thick Mickey Thompson tires help raise the bar for fun, too.

Since then, he’s been taking on the toughest trails and fjording the deepest rivers all around Idaho in his Wrangler, sometimes with his Wrangler-owning uncles. He’s even been back to Moab a couple of times in between caring for his cows and canoeing on the lake.

Everyone asks me what that rag is on the front of my jeep well my uncle @the_long_wrangler found it and put it on there. Never taken it off because I like to believe it’s good luck

Where will his Jeep life take him next? Only Moyle knows for sure. One of his new dreams is to be a dad, though, so perhaps we’ll see a little one riding in the back of his Wrangler one day. The only way to know for certain is to give him a follow on Instagram.
