SoCal Dealership Turns Jeep Dreams Into Reality

Rocketbyz Jeep Wrangler

Wildly vibrant ‘Rocketbyz Wrangler’ is the ultimate personalized Jeep.

The Wrangler is more popular than ever, and there’s likely to be one or two custom trucks on any Jeep lot. Maybe they have big rims, light bars, tinted windows, maybe some graphics, but that’s about it. Southern California’s Santa Monica Jeep goes a lot farther. In fact, just about everything is on the table when it comes to making your Wrangler your own.

On SM Jeep’s lot proudly sits the wild “Rocketbyz Wrangler” (pictured). Designed for a customer by famed German artist Tommy Boy, who goes by the moniker “Rocketbyz,” it’s one of the wildest JKs we’ve seen. And, judging by the photos of the intensive paint job, it looks like the dealership isn’t afraid of transforming a Wrangler into something radically different from what rolls out of the factory in Toledo.

After famously using his vibrant artwork to customize a Rolex Milgauss, Harley-Davidson, Mini Cooper, and a number of bikes, Rocketbyz’s colorful take on the Wrangler somehow makes sense. Its paint job makes it look a little like a Volkswagen Golf Harlequin’s badass bigger brother. We doubt this Wrangler will spend much time off the streets of L.A. Still, it shows just how committed SM Jeep is to turning its customers’ dreams into reality.

As this head-turning Jeep proves, one of the best things about the Wrangler is that even with the glut of safety regulations, you can still strip it down or build it up just about any way you like. But when you don’t have the time or space to throw the Mopar parts catalog at your new 4×4, you can custom order a JK just the way you like it at Santa Monica Jeep.
