SEMA 2022 D-Coder Concept

Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar joined together to create this insane Jeep Gladiator D-Coder Concept build.

The Jeep Gladiator, an already capable and reliable overlanding/off-road rig, was made even more so when Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) and Mopar joined sides. A total of 33 factory backed and tested aftermarket parts have enhanced the DNA, but each part comes with an important thing in common: QR (quick response) codes. All add-on parts come with codes that can direct anyone to the live link of the part, making it easier for enthusiasts to buy the same parts from either JPP or Mopar.

Rubicon’s very own three-piece modular bumper is the most noticeable add-on in front, paired with a Rubicon Warn Winch. Behind the single hoop tubular grille is a pair of LED off-road lights, making the D-Coder a potent off-road machine.

In case of flooding, this special Gladiator would come stock with a JPP snorkel that protects the intake, and close by is a cold-air intake from Mopar. Of course, it wouldn’t be a complete Gladiator build without Mopar’s free-flowing cat-back exhaust.

So far, the only thing that isn’t from Mopar or JPP are the aftermarket FOX shocks that come with a factory two-inch lift. The upgraded 15 inch wheels are from JPP, complemented by BFGoodRich’s 37 inch tires.

Though, good looks wasn’t the only thing JPP and Mopar’s partnership accomplished. The windshield was replaced with Gorilla Glass, which is three-times as strong as the standard windshield – protecting the driver or passenger in the event of a rollover. For extra added protection against the elements, steel rock rails were added to protect the frame, truck bed and JPP tube doors.

Behind the cherry red (rather, Maraschino Red) tube doors is the upgraded interior to carry the bright red torch. The seats have been swapped out with identically red Katzkin leather seats, and Mopar’s door sills, metal pedal covers and all-weather mats make up the interior. Adding more to the open air experience is Mopar’s mesh sunbonnet.

Finally, the mid-sized truck bed has been outfitted, too. It’s toughened with Mopar’s bedliner spray, mounted Mopar bed rails, and a THULE cargo basket to complete the image.
