We certainly hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but Jeep has issued yet another recall.

Well, technically speaking, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FAC) has issued the recall for select 2016 Jeep Cherokees due to issues with the transmission, according to a report by The Car Connection.

The crux of the recall, which includes a select number of Ram pickups as well, stems from the half-shafts that could fracture due to manufacturer default from the supplier, which potentially could increase the chance for a collision. Altogether, the recall includes 1,029 Jeep Cherokees in the U.S., 37 in Canada, and 28 in other places, all manufactured in September and October 2015.

Those who own one of the affected Jeeps should expect to receive recall notices in the mail along with instructions for getting the appropriate fixes made at their local dealerships.

Those with questions regarding the recalls are encouraged to contact FCA’s customer care center at 800-853-1403.
