If it looks as though this Jeep is ready to do battle, it’s because it is.

This 1942 Willys, one of five vehicles racing in the History Channel show “Alaska Off-Road Warriors,” is equipped with just about everything you need to tackle some of the toughest terrain in the world.

“Super Jeep,” as it’s called, driven by Carl Jantz and Rich Rudman, features a fuel-injected Chevy V8 engine and 47-inch tires. It includes the usual off-roading gear, such as backup gas cans and rope tow, as highlighted in a North Kitsap Herald report.

The Jeep, built by Jantz at his shop in Poulsbo, Washington, has also been stretched 25 inches.

“Alaska Off-Road Warriors” premiered Nov. 30. The winner of the challenge will take home a grand prize of $100,000, which, as you probably would expect, has brought together some interesting characters for the adventure.
