Alex Rodriguez Goes ‘Mild’ on Jeep Wrangler Celebrity Customs

Others opt to outfit their Jeeps with ice cream machines & makeup stations, but A-Rod goes extravagant in another way on latest episode.

If you’ve been following along with the Jeep Wrangler Celebrity Customs web series, you already knew that this trio of builds was going to be wild. And now that episode four has dropped, it only confirms those suspicions. In this latest clip, we get to see each Jeep Wrangler build coming together and receive a few clues as to what mods each is in the process of receiving. And let us tell you, these ain’t your average Jeep Wrangler mods.

The crew at West Coast Customs is working with baseball legend and MLB analyst Alex Rodriguez, and surprisingly, they might just have the mildest build of the bunch. If you consider the massive stereo system going in the back of A-Rod’s Jeep “mild,” that is. The custom designed subwoofer box looks just like a modified Wrangler front end.

That pales in comparison to what Autocraft NYC and restaurateurs Andrew Steinthal and Chris Stang have up their sleeves, however. Their Jeep Wrangler features an ice cream machine, refrigerator, and even a butcher block. And all of that is going to slide right on out of the tailgate for easy meal prep.

Then there’s the only two-door Jeep of the group, built by DCD Customs and TV and radio personality Maria Menounos. The pair chose a rather interesting color combo, but that isn’t the crazy part about this Jeep. Rather, we’re talking about the pop-out makeup station mounted in the dash, which sounds like a great way to tick off people in traffic.

Of course, all of this proves that with the right tools, you can turn a Jeep Wrangler into just about anything. So, be sure and keep an eye out for the next episode, which premieres on Sept. 20, because we’re on the home stretch of this cool contest. The sixth and final episode airs Sept. 27, at which time the winner will be revealed.
