Jeeps of SEMA 2015: The Parts
While we all look forward to all the incredible JKs built for the SEMA show, it is technically a trade show for the aftermarket parts we use. Every year, we see new debuts and updates for many of the best Jeep aftermarket parts. This year was no different. Below, we show you some of the best parts that caught our attention at SEMA 2015.
Ever wanted to do a diesel swap and had to go through the frustration of having to find every single piece you need? Well, Cummins is looking to make that an easier swap with a full crate package similar to the E-Rod crate engines for gas cars. Want to make this happen? They are looking for feedback!
Whiteline showed off new products for the JK Wrangler. If you want improved performance in the handling of your Jeep, Whiteline is your answer.
Lund showed off some new fender flares to cover up your tires.
Rugged Ridge displayed some really interesting new LED lights.
These 3.5-inch diameter LED lights certainly caught our eye.
Brembo brought some innovative new big brake kits for SUVs, trucks, and large cars. It’s the new B-M8 and it’s paired caliper the B-M4.
The Brembo B-M8 is an 8-piston monobloc caliper with four pads, suitable for rotors up to 16.53” x 1.57”. It uses a brand new casting process that not only eliminates the seam you normally see in castings, but also allows it to be all one piece.
It comes in a range of colors too, from Neon Green to White.
The B-M4 is made from the same process, but is a 4-piston caliper with two pads.
Brembo took this new technology to SEMA and the association was so impressed that it was awarded the SEMA New Product Award in the Engineered New Product category.
“We are breaking new ground with the launch of the Brembo B-M8 and B-M4 calipers at SEMA,” said Dan Sandberg, President and CEO of Brembo North America. “This new caliper aligns with Brembo’s principles of developing new and innovative products with a designed flair. The B-M8 will not only provide superior stopping performance, but will also deliver a design aesthetic that fills the large wheel openings of today’s 22-inch truck and car wheels. Our business was founded on creating high performing products that look great. We’ve taken our expertise in the motorsports world and applied it to large truck and SUV braking systems to create one of the largest and best looking calipers in the Brembo line.”
These are just some of the impressive parts at this year’s SEMA show. If you feel like we missed something, by all means, post it up on the forum!
