One of the allures of the Jeep Wrangler is the freedom of open-air cruising that comes with removing the top and the doors. For some people, having no doors at all is a bit too free, so half doors are a great option to let in more air while still having the basic security of a standard door. We looked up these aluminum half doors on the Savvy Off Road website and found that with the upgraded, OEM-style hinges, the front doors cost $689 and the rear doors cost $639. Add on another $100 for shipping and getting these doors from the company to your house will cost about $1,428. Mind you, these doors come from the company in raw aluminum, so you will have to have them prepped, primed and painted to match your Jeep.
These doors are listed with a price of $1,400 on the site, being sold in the Atlanta, Georgia, so if you are within driving distance of that area and you have a Flame Red Wrangler Unlimited, you can score these doors for a smokin’ deal. Depending on what type of offers the seller will entertain, you might be able to get them shipped and still save money over buying new, but there are obvious risks with shipping something like painted aluminum doors.
