Little Girl in Power Wheels Jeep Escapes Ticket

North Idaho police officer has a soft spot for Power Wheels.

If you’re in need of some Jeep news on a much lighter note, this is a good one to share.

Every week, KHQ News in North Idaho highlights a person who works in public safety for all the good work they do in the community. But recently, they took a different approach with the regular feature, shinning the spotlight on a Post Falls police officer who had a little fun with a little girl driving a Power Wheels Jeep.

Well, we’re not exactly sure if it all started out as fun, but it certainly wound up on a much lighter moment. What do we mean? Well, when you listen to the news station’s actual interview with Officer Pat Eismann, it’s hard to make out whether he was making light of the situation of spotting the girl driving the toy Jeep, or if he was really pulling her over for breaking the law.

“I saw a little girl driving a Power Wheels Jeep down the street. She was going eight mph in a five, but I gave her a warning for that,” Officer Eismann told the local news station.

No bending the rules with him, right? Cool pink Power Wheels Jeep or not, Mr. Eismann is one tough cookie. No, but in all sincerity, it certainly appears to have all been in fun. In fact, the officer even took the time to pose for a picture with the little pink Jeep owner after letting her go with a warning.

“I just kind of have fun with it,” he said. “Have fun with the community and have fun with the kiddos we deal with.”
