New Rhino-Rack BackBone Beefs Up Jeep’s Gear Capacity

If you’re looking for a durable way to haul more gear with your Wrangler, then this new contraption by Rhino-Rack might be worth considering.

The heavy-duty luggage rack known as the BackBone is designed to fit to the internal chassis of any Wrangler JK without taking away from any of the Jeep’s current capabilities. The concept is pretty simple in that the Rhino-Rack BackBone has been designed to evenly distribute the weight on top of the Jeep, up to 264 pounds.

For added strength, the Rhino-Rack BackBone has been made with cast, aluminum-point mount pads, connected via internal steel frames to the interior body of the Jeep. The Rhino-Rack part has also been fitted with the Rhino-Rack Track Mount Leg Set, and the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Crossbars or Pioneer Platform.

The Rhino-Rock team has also powder coated the BackBone to suit the appearance of any owner’s Jeep.

What do you think? Would you like Santa to bring you one of these this year?
