Nope. No where. No how. Regardless of how hard you try, you just can’t beat the comradery shared among Jeep owners giving back to the community.

Seriously, I truly mean that. I’ve covered a lot of car companies over the years and among them all, the compassion of Jeep owners (especially in the Wrangler family) is second to none. For seemingly all entrenched in the culture of Jeep, from Rhode Island to California, there’s just this deep-seated love of lending a helping hand.

NOLA 4X4 is a great example of that passion.

When the Villalobos Rescue Center needed help with their “Adopt a Fence” program, the New Orleans based 4×4 group raised $3,000 in fencing materials for the project. Then NOLA spent two days helping to start build the fence for the pit bull rescue center, which was featured in a segment of Animal Planet’s Pit Bulls & Parolees. And as if that wasn’t enough, the off-road club then went to work encouraging others to donate to the effort as well.

Now, in all fairness, it appears that NOLA 4X4 isn’t solely made up of Jeep owners. But it’s pretty clear when checking out the group’s site that diehard Wrangler owners make up the bulk of the club.
