If you’re stuck in the city but need a weekend away, one company now offers an all-in-one Jeep Wrangler-based solution.

Most of us already own a Jeep. And most likely, a large outfit of camping supplies. But what if you live in the dense metropolitan jungle that is New York City? There, most folks don’t even own cars. Partly because they either can’t afford them or just simply don’t need them. Taking a weekend camping trip for these car-less city dwellers used to involve purchasing a bunch of stuff and renting a Jeep. But now, a company called Ashwinn’s Upstate Roaming Co. is making your average weekend jaunt much, much easier.

With a few clicks, you can rent a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited already outfitted with all the camping supplies you need for yourself and up to four friends. Ashwinn’s delivers the Jeep right to your door, anywhere in the Big Apple. Then you simply head off to a pre-reserved campsite at upstate New York’s Kenneth L. Wilson Campground or another site of your choosing.

The Jeep you rent isn’t just packed with a tent and other basic goods, either. Everything from a first aid kit to sleeping bags are included. There’s also a full compliment of cooking gear, including a cooler, dutch oven, camping stove, and utensils. Heck, you even get a deck of cards, hammocks, and a lighter in case you forgot one. All you need to bring is food, beers, and whatever personal toiletries you need. Unless you want to really rough it, that is.

It’s a pretty killer idea, and truly a miracle service for those stuck living the city life. But Ashwinn’s rentals are also nice for anyone that might want to fly into NYC and scope out both the city and the beautiful nearby countryside.
