Ouch, that’s Going to Leave a Mark, at least on the Ferrari
I’m all for melding the automotive sub-cultures. I mean, we all share the car passion; it’s just that we all like different aspects of it, but this is not the coming together I had imagined.
This video was taken last week after the close of SEMA. Exiting the convention center, a long line of cars strolled through the night as onlookers watched all the show cars finally come to life. A few of those onlookers just happened to be filming Liberty Walk’s Ferrari 458 Italia widebody when a lifted Wrangler, complete with push bar just happened to keep rolling into territory where it had no business. The territory I’m talking about is the Ferrari 458 Italia’s backside.
All you hear in the video above before it pans over is a crunch from the Ferrari, so let’s check out this angle that shows us the moment of impact.
What’s, or rather, who’s hilarious is the Liberty Walk guy after he realizes there’s really nothing he can do, and screaming about it won’t do anything … he just amps up the crowd by yelling “BANZAI!”
Equally, it’s pretty funny that the Jeep suffered no damage, besides some mild scuffing. Silly Ferrari, SEMA is for the Jeeps.
