Quick Feature: Joey Redmond’s TJ Wrangler
If you’re familiar with the world of drifting, you’ve heard of Joey Redmond. Not only is he Wrecked Magazine’s owner and head editor, but he’s also Joey the owner of FuelCulture.com, which is where you’ll see his TJ Wrangler proudly presented. Let’s take a quick look into that TJ project!
FuelCulture.com is a website dedicated to bringing products and installation tutorials to its readers. It’s a great way for someone who’s unfamiliar to learn about how a part is installed, or even a great way to find out more about a product before the purchasing it.
Parts like an AEM intake, a SPEC Stage-1 clutch, or even a Rugged Ridge XHD front bumper and 8,500-lb. winch are all shown on FuelCulture.com, and there are videos of them being installed on Joey’s Wrangler.
Joey’s Wrangler uses 15-inch Mamba Type M13 wheels with GT Radial Adventuro M/T tires sized at 33 x 12.50 x 15. The matte metallic dark gray is actually a 3M wrap — the TJ started out with a black-paint finish. To assist with ingress, Rampage sent Joey their side steps and also sent their Frameless Trail Top to keep passengers protected from the elements.
Rugged Ridge didn’t just send their front bumper; Joey also used their full-frame light bar with four 5-inch round HID lights. He was also sent their Rock Crawler rear bumper and HD tire carrier mount. To round out the awesome looks of the TJ, Rugged Ridge all-terrain fender flares cover the tires for road legality and great looks.
This TJ has been to SEMA several times, and it’s really no wonder. Joey’s Wrangler has the looks that stop people in their tracks, not to mention the media credentials thanks to FuelCulture.com.
