‘RoadM8’ Jeep Wrangler Goes Up for Auction, Supports Veterans Charity

One-of-a-kind Wrangler with built-in coffee maker & fridge accepts bids through Nov. 29 in support of Fisher House Foundation.

Remember that hotel-inspired “RoadM8” custom Jeep Wrangler with the built-in coffee maker and fridge that rolled into the New York Intl’ Auto Show earlier this year? Well, good news: The custom ride is going on the auction block. Even better, proceeds will benefit a worthy charity.

Today, Super 8, which created the custom project to hype its recent renovations, announced that it is auctioning its one-of-a-kind Jeep, with 100 percent of the sale benefiting the Fisher House Foundation, a military non-profit that provides free hotel stays for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The “RoadM8” auction runs through November 29.

“When we launched ‘RoadM8,’ we knew we ultimately wanted to use the vehicle as a means for giving back and creating a positive impact for the military community,” says Mike Mueller, Senior V.P. of Super 8. “We have no doubt that with the help of Fisher House Foundation, we’ll be doing exactly that.”

Bidding starts at $20,000 for the RoadM8, which was inspired by Super 8’s recent $100 million redesign and features innovative amenities like an on-demand coffee maker and a built-in mini-fridge. A 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport 4×4 was the canvas used to create a vehicle that exudes luxury. Inside it evokes the warm colors and black-and-white art of the Super 8 brand’s rooms.
