Did Someone Order a Jeep 6×6?
Have you looked at the Mercedes G63 6×6 and wondered if Jeep would ever have the onions to build one themselves? Or maybe you just wanted your Jeep to have the same ruggedness as the 6×6? Well, wonder and hope no more, a company by the name of Tyrant Motorsports is here to help with their JK 6×6.
Built off the standard JK chassis, the entire car has been thoroughly gone through to make the conversion perfect. From ripping out the old six cylinder engine and lumping in a Hemi, to strengthening up the axles with a set of Currie 9-inch units that have 4.88 gearing and are coupled to a new driveshaft. They’ve also added a custom Dana differential that allows the power to be split to all six wheels.
Underneath the SUV, the chassis has been tightened and beefed up to be able to deal with the added axle weight. Add to that six Toyo Open country rubber tires and you’ve definitely got yourself one of the most ultimate Jeeps on the planet. And to make sure you don’t run out of fuel when you’re stomping through the desert, they’ve even put in a 65-gallon fuel tank.
For that added bit of American expeditionary zeal, you can also get this monster fitted with a custom gun case. Perfect for when you need to fight off any Range Rovers.
