Spidertrax Ultimate Unit Bearing and Pro Series 300M Stub Shaft

Spidertrax says that their new Ultimate Unit Bearing is a “reinvention of the unit bearing itself.” With Genuine Timken bearings, full chromoly heat-treated construction, and the most compact unit bearing at just 2.125 inches from flange to wheel mount, you are getting a design proven in rock crawling and racing. They have also eliminated the need for a drive slug with a 4.235-inch hub register for centering and strength and they feature a 40-spline drive for the axles. Finally, the Ultimate Unit Bearing features left- and right-hand-threaded spindle nuts with 6-on-5.5-inch, 5/8-18 studs for ultimate security while riding off road.
To go along with the new Ultimate Unit Bearing, Spidertrax designed the Pro Series 300M Stub Shaft to match it. It features 300M construction using the strictest AMS Aerospace Standards for heat treatment, double tempering, snap tempering, and cryogenic treatment procedures. The Pro Series 300M Stub Shaft is capable of taking 50-degree turns for a sharp steering radius in tight conditions, while still maintaining the centerline of the steering knuckle. They solve this by locking the shaft to the Ultimate Unit Bearing with a massive one-inch, pinch-style flange nut. With a 40-spline shaft, there is an added bonus of using the Ultimate Unit Bearings on both the front and rear for parts simplicity and serviceability.
