Teens Turn Jeep Wave into Hot Merchandise

Jeep Wave

This is certainly one way to flip the script on a passion for Jeeps.

In fact, I’m betting that anyone who’s ever owned a Wrangler probably will be beating themselves up over this one, especially considering two teens came up with the idea.

Hell, and they can’t even legally drive yet.

Building on a shared love for the Wrangler, Peter and Alex Ackerman, two 14-year-old twins, have turned that popular Jeep wave, common among owners who come across each other on the road, into an online store selling merchandise.

The young Ackermans, who are located in New England, first came up with the idea after their dad bought a Jeep.

Three years later, they’re selling their Jeep Wave Fan concept as a logo on T-shirts and bumper stickers at JeepWaveFan.com. They’re even pulling in orders all the way from the U.K.

The teens also have launched a Kickstarter campaign to help support their business, but I’m betting it’ll be booming on its own pretty soon considering they’ve already reached their funding goal.
