The birthplace of Jeep is revving up for one of its biggest celebrations ever for the iconic American nameplate. But organizers of the Toledo, Ohio event need the help of fellow Jeep enthusiasts like you.

Namely, they need help putting out the word that they are looking for Jeeps from the years 1956 and 1957 to ensure that every model is represented at the event. The Toledo Jeep Fest will be held on August 13 as part of Jeep’s ongoing 75th Anniversary celebration. And so far, more than 800 Jeeps have signed up for the one-day event.

The list of scheduled activities includes a Jeep parade, live entertainment, children’s activities, and food vendors. But of course, the biggest draw will be the Jeeps. Hundreds and hundreds of Jeeps including everything from military models from the ‘40s to more modern, heavily modified Jeeps.

But organizers feel it just won’t be complete without models from ’56 and ’57.

So if you own one of these Jeeps, you might want to call the organizers at 419-960-5337, or send an email to toledojeepfest@gmail.com to get in on the celebration.
