Looks like Poison Spyder Customs (PSC) will be getting more muscle behind its off-road accessories and performance mods.

The popular aftermarket company was recently acquired by Transamerican Manufacturing Group (TMG), the largest independent auto parts manufacturer in the US., according to an official company press release.

With TMG’s strong mail-order system and 66 brick-and-mortar 4 Wheel Parts retail centers, the move should give PSC even more to offer Jeep enthusiasts. Of course, the key for continued success will be allowing Poison Spyder to maintain its own identity in the new deal, which TMG seems intent on doing.

“I really admire what Larry McRae has done in building a predominant brand so quickly,” said TAP’s CEO, Greg Adler. “Poison Spyder is a great fit with our brands and our customer base. We look forward to developing the full potential of what McRae and his team has already worked so diligently upon.”

That should be welcomed news for JK fans everywhere, right?
