2016 Jeep Safari Concepts Tackle the Moab

Chances are you’ve already seen photos of the awesome concepts that Jeep created for the 2016 Jeep Safari, but have you seen them in action?
The annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari is considered the best Jeep event of the year, and also the most challenging. Owners with various Jeep models, ranging from fully-stock to completely-modified, unite to tackle the iconic Moab trails. And as you can tell from the video below, the trails “ain’t no joke.”

This year proved to be extra-special, as Jeep brought some incredibly hot prototypes, like the Jeep “Crewchief 715” concept photographed above, a Hellcat-powered 707-horsepower Jeep Wrangler “Trailcat,” and the obnoxiously charming Jeep Renegade “Comanche” pickup truck.
Check out the video to see the concepts in action, as well as a general description of what Jeep engineers and designers look for, or hope to achieve with these prototypes. Most of which they can later apply to the real deal.
Enjoy!
